Market Commentary April 2015

Please find this month’s Market Commentary newsletter which contains our view on the stock market based upon fundamental and technical analysis along with some recommended investments for the current market.

Stock markets have been enjoying their best first quarter in years, not least thanks to the start of the ECB’s QE programme. But March ended on a downbeat note with the FTSE 100 down 2.5% on profit taking and the breakdown of Greek talks with its creditors not exactly helping matters. In the UK, there was also a bit of pre-election jitters creeping into the market after the campaign began in earnest following Monday’s dissolution of Parliament. It would not take a genius to predict that volatility in the markets (the FTSE 100 fell from 6,946 to 6,700, climbed to 7,040 before closing at 6,694) is not going to go away anytime soon.
